Job Summary
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will work closely with business and technology leadership to drive strategic HR initiatives, talent management, performance enhancement, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness. This role is pivotal in aligning HR strategies with business goals within a financial services or wealth management environment, contributing to organizational growth and transformation.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business and technology leaders to understand and address people-related priorities and workforce requirements.
- Drive talent management initiatives, including talent reviews, succession planning, and critical talent identification.
- Collaborate with managers on performance management, career development, and employee retention strategies.
- Support employee engagement and culture-building initiatives to foster a positive work environment.
- Lead organizational effectiveness, team productivity, and workforce optimization projects.
- Identify capability gaps and coordinate with Learning & Development (L&D) teams to implement relevant development programs.
- Support organizational change and transformation initiatives to ensure smooth transitions.
- Utilize HR data and people analytics to generate insights and advise business leaders effectively.
- Work closely with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) and other HR stakeholders to deliver comprehensive people solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, providing practical HR advisory support.
Qualifications
- MBA / PGDM, preferably in Human Resources; 2019 or 2020 batch.
- Relevant experience in HRBP / Business HR roles.
- 6 months to 1 year of hands-on Learning & Development (L&D) experience/exposure is mandatory.
- Experience in Financial Services, Banking, Wealth Management, BFSI, NBFC, or Insurance sectors.
- Exposure to supporting IT / Technology functions is an advantage.
- Strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills.
- Ability to independently manage responsibilities as an individual contributor.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant HR experience, with specific exposure to HR Business Partnering and Learning & Development.
- MBA / PGDM, preferably in Human Resources; 2019 or 2020 batch.
- Experience within the financial services or related sectors is preferred.
