Software Defined Access (SDA) Job Description

 

Job role,

·       Candidate will be expected to Analyse the traditional LAN and WIFI implementation.

·       Candidate will need to collate and document customer requirements for SDA for LAN and WLAN solution.

·       Candidate will need to work on High Level Design for SDA solution for LAN and WLAN including Bill Of Materials, topologies, features, etc

·       Candidate should have good understanding of Network migration process and its execution.

·       Candidate will need to work on Low Level Design for SDA solution for LAN and WLAN including rack design, cable matrix, IP addressing, Naming convention etc.

·       Candidate will need to be well versed in solution deployment, fault troubleshooting etc.

·       Candidate will be expected to support operations team for Root Cause Analysis, P1 troubleshooting, etc.

 

Required skills & knowledge,

·       Good knowledge and experience in LAN technologies including VLANs, STP, 802.1x, Switch stacking, VSS, etc.

·       Good knowledge and experience in WiFi technologies specially in SDA environment including WiFi6, DOT.1X, 802.11, QOS, CAPWAP & roaming users, multiple SSIDs, integration with Radius, landing portal, Captive Portal , Guest WIFI , Rogue APs, etc

·       Good knowledge of external Wi-Fi solution.

·       Good Knowledge of LISP, VXLAN, protocols

·       Good knowledge in routing protocols like OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, ISIS.

·       Good knowledge and concepts on SDN.

·       Good knowledge on Cisco SDA solution including Catalyst 9k, PxGrid, LISP, DNAC, etc.

·       Good knowledge of Wireless networking tools like Ekahau, Air Magnet etc.

·       Exposure to Cisco ISE, DHCP, DNS, NTP.

·       Exposure to APIs and API based integrations.

·       Exposure to Automation and Analytics.

·       Exposure to multicast, IPv6, etc

·       Exposure to network management tools & platforms.

·       Cisco Certified Specialist - Enterprise Advanced Infrastructure Implementation or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Enterprise candidate will be desirable.

·       Candidate should be flexible to adopt new Network technology and work in that domain according to organization need.
