Job Summary

The Technical Business Analyst acts as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and operational efficiency. This role involves thorough analysis of business requirements, functional design, and validation of delivered solutions, contributing to the organization's objectives by driving technical solutions for complex problems.

Responsibilities

• Work autonomously within defined processes, supporting the development of solutions to recurring complex problems.
• Build, maintain, and share functional knowledge of processes, services, and end-user product usage.
• Analyze business requirements submitted by Product Management, sizing specification and validation work.
• Carry out functional design by analyzing current functionalities to understand existing systems and identifying gaps.
• Write comprehensive documentation such as Feasibility Studies, Solution Overview Documents, and Interface Control Documents to present functional walk-throughs.
• Liaise with Product Management, Project Management, and Development teams to clarify requirements and ensure cross-application compatibility.
• Contribute to the implementation of testing strategies and ensure compliance with functional specifications.
• Manage communication with key stakeholders throughout requirements gathering and implementation phases.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in XML and APIs for effective communication with technical teams.
• Familiarity with tools such as SOAP UI, Altova XMLSpy, and Postman.
• Strong analytical skills to independently investigate issues via log analysis.
• Excellent documentation skills using Confluence for clarity and consistency.
• Exceptional communication skills to collaborate across diverse teams and geographies.
• Adaptive mindset to navigate changing requirements and challenges.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies (desired but not mandatory).
• Previous experience in the travel industry, specifically in the Passenger Travel Domain or Airline Distribution Domain, is preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with JIRA for tracking requirements and managing workflows.
• Background in Agile methodologies and participation in team events like Agile forums and solution assessments.
