Job Summary

The Associate Manager Infrastructure Services will play a critical role in managing and implementing complex infrastructure projects. This position is essential for ensuring that DXC Technology continues to deliver superior value to its clients by reducing costs, enabling growth, and managing risk through effective infrastructure services.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and implement complex system configurations at an expert level in demanding customer environments.
• Assess, design, plan, and implement complex infrastructure projects.
• Directly interact with cross-functional teams and solution architects to identify, develop, and obtain complete information for solutions.
• Plan and execute technical programs, including developing, validating, executing, and delegating project technical processes and procedures. Serve as an escalation point for technical project issues.
• Apply best practices, strategies, methodologies, and approaches to large-scale projects.
• Achieve a high level of customer satisfaction on all consulting engagements, demonstrating strong team leadership and a focus on results.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: 10+ years of substantive experience providing database administration in MS SQL Server environments (2000/2005/2008/2016).
• Certifications: MCDBA/MCTS certification is mandatory.
• Technical Skills:
  • Expertise in installation, backup, restores, and refreshes.
  • Proficient in clustering, Always On, and Availability Groups (AOAG).
  • Experience with log shipping, replication, database mirroring, migration, performance tuning, and DTS/SSIS.
  • Knowledge of other RDBMS, with preference for Sybase experience.
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to document and present complex designs to a wider audience.
  • Ability to manage conflicting deadlines regularly when handling work packages associated with projects.
  • Expertise in mentoring and coaching peers.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in working with other relational database management systems (RDBMS) is an added advantage.

Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in database administration and infrastructure services.

Environment

• The position is based in a hybrid work mode, with potential locations including Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Mumbai, Noida, and Gurugram. The role may require working night shifts.

Salary

• Estimated salary range: ₹3,000,000.
