Job Description
Key Responsibilities: 1. Category Strategy: Develop and implement strategic plans for assigned product categories, including assortment planning, pricing strategies, and promotional activities. 2. Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure a reliable and diverse product assortment that meets customer demands. 3. Performance Analysis: Monitor category performance metrics, analyze sales data, and identify opportunities for improvement or expansion within assigned categories. 4. Competitive Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to maintain a competitive edge and capitalize on emerging opportunities. 5. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, merchandising, and operations, to execute category initiatives and drive business objectives. 6. Inventory Management: Work closely with inventory planning teams to optimize stock levels, minimize stockouts, and reduce excess inventory within assigned categories. 7. Customer Satisfaction: Champion the customer voice within the organization by continuously improving product selection, quality, and overall shopping experience within assigned categories.
