Job Summary

The System Test Automation Engineer will play a crucial role in enhancing the testing efficiency of embedded systems, particularly in the automotive domain. The purpose of this role is to design, develop, and execute black box testing for Electronic Control Units (ECUs) to ensure their functionality, performance, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test cases for ECU black box testing.
• Document test results, report defects, and track issues using RTC/JIRA tools.
• Participate in test planning and review activities to ensure thorough coverage of requirements.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance product quality.
• Utilize automation tools and frameworks for effective test automation.
• Implement software solutions using Python and other scripting languages like CAPL.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or Computer Science Engineering). Civil and Mechanical Engineering backgrounds will not be considered.
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in test automation focusing on embedded systems.
• Skills:
  • Strong background in Python scripting.
  • Automation experience with ECUs (Electronic Control Unit) black box testing.
  • Basic knowledge of embedded systems within the automotive domain.
  • Exposure to test automation tools and frameworks.
  • Understanding of testing methodologies and best practices.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with other scripting languages besides Python.
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) practices.

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in system test automation focusing on embedded systems.
