Lead Engineer

Job Summary

As the first lead engineer you will be responsible for building the engineering foundation of the company. You will collaborate with current engineers to create high-quality code and execute innovative solutions that address complex challenges. Your role will encompass a wide scope, including engineering and research, and you will lead by example, establishing standards for technical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the engineering team, fostering a culture of high performance and collaboration.
• Build engineering solutions from the ground up, ensuring technical quality and scalability.
• Conduct code reviews and set high standards for quality and project delivery.
• Iterate rapidly based on real-world feedback and changing requirements.
• Engage in research and development to push technical boundaries within the AI field.
• Collaborate closely with product teams to align engineering capabilities with product vision.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of deep, relevant engineering experience.
• Proven ability to solve complex problems with patience and precision.
• Strong sense of urgency and agility to iterate quickly based on feedback.
• Educational background in relevant fields (PhD or equivalent industry experience preferred).

Preferred Skills

• Experience as an Ex-Founder/CTO of an AI-first startup.
• Background as an Ex-Founding Lead Engineer of an AI-first startup.
• Specialization in areas such as Edge AI, Apple & iOS development, ASR systems, and advanced memory systems.
• Familiarity with low-power Bluetooth hardware and firmware is a plus.

Experience

Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of relevant engineering experience, specifically in AI technologies and systems.

Environment

This is an on-site role based in Noida. The team collaborates in the office 5 days a week, maintaining a high level of productivity.
