Key Responsibilities
<p> </p> 1. Merchandise Planning & Forecasting <p> </p> o Develop pre-season sales, margin, and inventory plans by category, gender, <p> </p> and channel. <p> </p> o Build store-level assortment and depth plans based on sell-out trends, <p> </p> regional preferences, and store clusters. <p> </p> o Coordinate with the brand, product, and planning teams to align the buy with <p> </p> brand calendars and seasonal strategies. <p> </p> 2. In-Season Management <p> </p> o Track weekly performance vs. plan – revenue, sell-through, inventory cover, <p> </p> and product freshness. <p> </p> o Manage replenishment and allocations to ensure right product availability at <p> </p> the right time and place. <p> </p> o Recommend markdowns, consolidations, and reorders to drive sell-through <p> </p> and minimize aging inventory. <p> </p> 3. Cross-Functional Collaboration <p> </p> o Work closely with supply planning, retail operations, marketing, and finance <p> </p> teams to ensure aligned execution. <p> </p> o Partner with the retail team to translate store insights into assortment and <p> </p> sizing strategies. <p> </p> o Collaborate with warehouse and logistics to ensure timely inbound and <p> </p> outbound product flow. <p> </p> 4. Reporting & Analytics <p> </p> o Prepare weekly/monthly business review decks for management. <p> </p> o Analyse product and store performance to identify trends and opportunities <p> </p> for growth. <p> </p> o Maintain reports on sales, margin, and inventory KPIs for agile decisionmaking. <p> </p> 5. Market & Product Intelligence <p> </p> o Track competitor launches, pricing, and promotions to inform seasonal buys. <p> </p> o Provide feedback to product and design teams on consumer response and <p> </p> product gaps.<br />
