Job Summary

The AEM Backend Developer will be responsible for developing and integrating solutions using Adobe Experience Manager. The role requires a proficient understanding of Java, Sling, OSGi, and API integrations, with a focus on enhancing site performance and delivering secure, scalable applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
• Perform 3rd party integrations with AEM as necessary.
• Create and adhere to RunBooks while ensuring compliance with site performance standards.
• Configure Dispatcher and manage caching through load balancers for optimized performance.
• Work with the Java Content Repository (API), Sling web framework, and Apache Felix OSGi framework.
• Implement Digital Asset Management (DAM) and workflows effectively.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3.5 years of hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in Java and related frameworks.
  • Strong experience with Sling, OSGi, and APIs.
  • Advanced knowledge of the Java Content Repository (API) suite.
  • Understanding of Dispatcher configurations and site caching.
  • Familiarity with Digital Asset Management (DAM) and AEM workflows.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience working in agile development teams.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) as it relates to AEM development.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve performance-related issues in web applications.

Experience

• A minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience in backend development, specifically with AEM.

• Location: Bangalore
