Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled AWS DevOps Senior Engineer with expertise in cloud-native development, automation, and infrastructure management. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in containerization, AWS DevOps services, scripting (Python), and serverless architecture. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions in AWS while driving automation and DevOps best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure with a strong focus on scalability, security, and cost optimization.
• Work extensively on containerization technologies, especially Docker and AWS ECS (Elastic Container Service), along with ECR (Elastic Container Registry).
• Automate build, release, and deployment pipelines using GitHub Actions or other CI/CD tools.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts in Python to improve operational efficiency.
• Build and maintain serverless applications using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and S3.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application and infrastructure performance.
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform / AWS CloudFormation.
• Ensure best practices for security, compliance, and monitoring are in place across AWS services.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline software delivery and reliability.
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in AWS services: ECS, ECR, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, API Gateway.
• Containerization expertise with Docker and orchestration in AWS.
• Practical experience with GitHub (GitHub Actions / CI/CD pipelines).
• Strong scripting knowledge, with specialization in Python.
• Solid understanding of serverless computing (AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB).
• Experience in monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.).
• Good knowledge of Linux administration.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kubernetes (EKS).
• Knowledge of Terraform or CloudFormation for IaC.
• Exposure to DevSecOps practices.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Experience

• 7 – 10 Years of relevant experience in AWS DevOps and cloud technologies.
