Head of Finance
About the Company – QuickShift
● QuickShift QuickShift is a full-stack logistics company with a network of fulfilment
centres pan India, seamlessly integrated through advanced technology.
● Established in 2020, currently operating at an ARR of ₹70–80 Cr with profitability
achieved, QuickShift aims to scale to ₹400 Cr+ in the next 3–4 years.
● They are a channel and category agnostic fulfillment service provider to large
enterprise brands, bringing incredible supply chain efficiency using an
indigenously developed proprietary technology stack.
Funding - The company has successfully raised two rounds of funding – ₹12 Cr from Axilor
and Anicut – and is in the process of closing its next round at $3M.
Founders - Anshul Goenka & Prodipto Roy
Team Size - The team comprises 120+ members (excluding blue-collar workforce), with major
operations in Pune (tech, operations, support) and Delhi.
About the Role - Finance Lead
Function: Finance Operations & Strategic Finance Leadership
Location: Pune
Experience: 8-12 years
Working Format: 6-day working model with Work From Office, (Work From Home on the 2nd
and 4th Saturdays)
Team Size: 8 members (4 Accounts + 4 MIS) – currently reporting directly to the Founder;
role will consolidate and lead the function
Preferred Profile:
● Background in supply chain, logistics, or e-commerce industries with experience in
setting up and streamlining finance processes.
● Strong understanding of business finance, accounting, receivables, and compliance.
● Experience in fundraising support and investor communication is an advantage.
● Hands-on leadership style with the ability to manage both strategic and operational
aspects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Planning & Strategy
● Develop and implement business finance strategies aligned with overall company
objectives.
● Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
● Partner with leadership to support equity fundraising, including preparation of financial
models, investor decks, and due diligence materials.
● Provide data-driven recommendations for business growth and capital allocation.
2. Financial Operations (FinOps)
● Oversee automation of financial processes to improve accuracy and efficiency.
● Lead the Finance Operations team, ensuring high standards in data integrity and
reporting.
● Track, analyze, and report on cash flows to support decision-making.
● Collaborate with business teams to align financial data with operational performance.
3. Accounting
● Oversee end-to-end accounting, ensuring accurate and timely preparation of financial
statements.
● Maintain compliance with statutory requirements, accounting standards, and tax
regulations.
● Ensure proper reconciliation of accounts, journals, and ledgers.
● Implement internal controls to safeguard financial data and prevent discrepancies.
4. Receivables & Credit Management
● Monitor accounts receivable, ensuring payments from enterprise clients are collected
within agreed timelines (e.g., 30 days).
● Establish and maintain credit policies to minimize payment delays and defaults.
● Work with sales and operations to resolve disputes and accelerate collections.
● Regularly review aging reports and take corrective action to maintain healthy cash
flow.
5. Risk & Compliance
● Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks, including credit, operational, and market
risks.
● Ensure compliance with internal policies, legal requirements, and audit standards.
● Conduct periodic financial risk assessments to support decision-making.
6. Business Finance & Decision Support
● Translate financial data into actionable business insights for functional teams.
● Support strategic initiatives such as pricing strategies, cost optimization, and
profitability analysis.
● Partner with department heads to align financial goals with operational plans.
7. Fundraising & Investor Relations (Good to Have)
● Build and maintain relationships with potential investors and financial institutions.
● Support equity fundraising initiatives by preparing accurate and compelling financial
narratives.
● Present financial performance and projections to current and prospective investors.
