Job Summary

The role involves ensuring effective management and configuration of network infrastructure, focusing on Cisco Application Policy Infrastructure Controller (APIC) and FortiGate firewalls. The candidate is expected to contribute to network administration through their expertise in various network protocols and firewall management.

Responsibilities

• Manage and configure Cisco APIC environments to ensure efficient network operations.
• Administer FortiGate firewalls, including setting up VPN, Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), and web filtering capabilities.
• Implement and troubleshoot network protocols, including OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, and ISIS.
• Engage in Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching configurations, including VLAN and Spanning Tree Protocol (STP).
• Utilize network monitoring tools to assess and optimize network performance.
• Develop scripts for network automation using languages such as Python or PowerShell.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience in network administration, particularly with Cisco APIC and FortiGate Firewalls.
• Certifications:
  • Must have: Cisco CCNA and CCNP
  • Preferred: Fortinet NSE4 or higher

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Software Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) technologies and cloud networking (e.g., Azure, AWS).
• Proficiency in scripting for network automation (Python, PowerShell).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience

• 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in network administration.

Environment

The role can be performed in various locations including Noida, Pune, Bangalore, and Nagpur, with a contract duration of 6 Months.

Salary

• Billing rate of 2 LPM (Lakhs Per Month).
