Hybris Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Hybris Developer / Technical Lead with over 8 years of experience in developing and customizing SAP Hybris-based e-Commerce applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Hybris architecture, product data modeling, and backend integration with SAP systems. This role requires hands-on experience in building scalable web services and leading agile development teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and customize Hybris applications to meet client requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers and designers to define system architecture and document technical specifications.
• Customize Hybris CMS and e-commerce suite components including WCMS, Solr, HMC, CMS & Product Cockpit, Admin Console, CronJobs, ImpEx, Catalogs, Categories, and Products.
• Integrate third-party services into Hybris platforms as needed.
• Conduct performance tuning and optimization of e-commerce applications.
• Develop highly scalable REST/SOAP web services-based systems, publishing and consuming web services.
• Work with GraphQL and Spring Boot for backend development.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide solutions to enhance system functionality and user experience.
• Ensure application security through authentication, authorization, and session management.
• Use version control tools like Git or GitLab for source code management.
• Implement testing frameworks for unit testing, integration testing, and test-driven development.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of SAP Hybris development and architecture.
• 8+ years of professional experience as a Hybris (SAP Commerce) developer.
• Proficient in Java programming and object-oriented programming concepts.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Understanding of integration patterns and API development.
• Experience with version control systems like Git and development tools such as Maven.
• Hands-on experience in product data modeling, catalog structure, and workflow.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of additional programming languages such as SQL or Groovy.
• Good to have knowledge in Spock Framework, WireMock, and contract testing.

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience required, with a preference for candidates having 3-5 years of experience in Hybris development or similar e-commerce platforms.
