Business Development & Sales Intern

Job Summary

Responsibilities

  • Study the market and identify new business and partnership opportunities.
  • Actively seek out sales prospects, schedule meetings, and close deals.
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
  • Identify corporate prospects, distribution channels, and edtech collaborations, evaluating their needs.
  • Prepare presentations and marketing documents to support sales activities.
  • Optimize the company website and social media platforms using keyword analysis.
  • Plan and execute effective digital marketing strategies to boost visibility, lead generation, and sales across platforms such as LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, blogs, and emailers.
  • Perform cost/benefit analyses for business decisions.
  • Demonstrate creativity, innovative thinking, and a problem-solving approach in all tasks.
  • Carry out other duties as assigned, adapting to the dynamic needs of the start-up.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability in cold calling and delivering persuasive sales pitches.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in business development concepts and strategies.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Must own and be able to use a personal laptop.
  • Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
