Core Responsibilities
Participate in sprints, collaborating closely with product and ML teams to ship new features and platform improvements.
Design and implement highly scalable, highly concurrent backend services in Go.
Profile and resolve low-level performance issues - latency, memory, CPU, and I/O.
Own customer-facing, on-premise Kubernetes deployments: troubleshoot, optimize, and ensure customers achieve business outcomes.
Must-Have Qualifications
3+ years building and operating production services in Go.
Strong grasp of concurrency patterns (goroutines, channels).
Experience managing microservices on Kubernetes.
Comfortable diagnosing and addressing lower level performance issues (memory leaks, latency increases).
Work within SLAs with customers to resolve critical production issues in a timely fashion.
Nice-to-Have
VoIP experience - FreeSWITCH, Asterisk, or SIP/RTP internals.
Prior remote-first team experience across time zones.
Shipped AI-driven products (ASR, NLP, TTS, recommendation, etc.).
Prior experience working within the BFSI domain.
