About Us:
Asvata is a pioneering organization dedicated to carbon offset projects aimed at reducing
greenhouse gas emissions and promoting sustainable development. Managing the projects
of GHG crediting programs for validation and verification cycles, specifically the VCS, Gold
Standard and GCC associated programs. We are seeking a skilled Technical (non-NBS)
executive with 4+ years of experience to join our team and work under the guidance of the
Head – Operations.
Asvata is a pioneering organization dedicated to carbon offset projects aimed at reducing
greenhouse gas emissions and promoting sustainable development. Managing the projects
of GHG crediting programs for validation and verification cycles, specifically the VCS, Gold
Standard and GCC associated programs. We are seeking a skilled Technical (non-NBS)
executive with 4+ years of experience to join our team and work under the guidance of the
Head – Operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Extensive working experience in GHG crediting programs such as the Clean
Development Mechanism (CDM), Gold Standard, VCS, and SD VISta, in technical
roles is required. This includes site visits, client meetings, and discussions for initial
project assessments, covering a range of projects such as Renewable Energy,
Energy Efficiency, Waste Management, Plastic Waste Reduction, Community
Development, and other eligible industrial projects under different mechanisms.
Supporting the operation heads in project conceptualization, planning,
implementation, and monitoring to adhere to the guidelines outlined under the
specific GHG crediting programs.
Lead and mentor team of project execution and delivery professionals.
Assisting in new business development and concepts through high-quality research
and analysis to support in decision-making process.
Work alongside the Head – Operations to handle project validation and verification
audits to address non-conformities and queries under various voluntary and
compliance mechanisms.
Undertaking screening of the project documents and ensuring their quality and
consistency throughout the project cycles of validation and verification.
Support the Head – Operations implementing project emission reduction verification
audits to secure the successful issuance of Emission Reductions (ERs) under
various GHG mitigating programs.
Developing frameworks, methodologies, tools, models, questionnaires, and formats
essential for the GHG standard program and associated SDG components.
Developing quality training modules and delivering them to internal and external team
members on the topics of carbon program concepts and technical requirements and
guidelines.

Experience/exposure to community and energy efficiency programs is a plus.
Experience in methodology development is preferred.
