ETL Developer

Job Summary

The ETL Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes using Informatica PowerCenter. This role is vital for ensuring data integrity and efficiency within the data processing life cycle, and it contributes to enhancing our data warehousing strategies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter.
• Work with PostgreSQL (PL/pgSQL) and Oracle (PL/SQL) to manage database operations.
• Support and troubleshoot ETL applications in a Linux-based server environment.
• Implement data modeling and data warehousing techniques to enhance data storage solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for requirements gathering and solutions design.
• Analyze and improve existing ETL processes for better performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as an ETL Developer.
• Strong technical skills in Informatica, PL/pgSQL, and PL/SQL.
• Solid understanding of database technologies such as PostgreSQL and Oracle.
• Experience in Unix scripting and knowledge of reporting tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and synthesizing skills.
• Excellent written and verbal business communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data modeling and data warehousing technologies.
• Familiarity with different development methods, tools, and techniques.

Experience

• A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in ETL Development is required.

Environment
