Oracle EBS Functional Consultant – Finance (8+ Years)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Functional Consultant with a strong background in Finance modules and managed services. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience supporting Oracle EBS applications, especially within the Finance domain, including localizations for Mexico/Latin America. This role involves functional support, application enhancements, data migration, and troubleshooting complex integrations, preferably in the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional support and manage enhancements for Oracle EBS Finance modules including:
  • General Ledger (GL)
  • Accounts Payables (AP)
  • Accounts Receivables (AR)
  • Fixed Assets (FA)
  • iExpense, iReceivables, iSuppliers
  • Purchasing (PO)
  • Project Accounting
  • Cash Management
  • EBTax
• Handle Mexico and Latin America localization requirements and compliance.
• Collaborate with technical teams to debug and resolve issues in seeded and custom concurrent programs.
• Support and troubleshoot peripheral integrations such as bank file integrations and third-party tools.
• Lead or support Finance data migration from external systems into Oracle EBS.
• Interact with business stakeholders to gather requirements, prepare documentation, and deliver solutions.
• Adhere to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) in a managed services environment, ensuring high-quality support and enhancements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of functional experience with Oracle EBS Finance modules.
• Hands-on experience with Managed Services and Application Enhancements.
• Strong understanding of Mexico/Latin America statutory and localization requirements.
• Proven expertise in Finance data migration and reconciliation.
• Experience with peripheral systems and banking integrations.
• Familiarity with both seeded and custom Oracle concurrent programs.
• Hospitality industry experience is a strong plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work in extended IST 2nd shift hours.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of advanced integration techniques and tools within Oracle EBS.
• Additional certifications related to Oracle Financials or Project Management is a plus.

Experience

• A minimum of 8+ years in similar functional roles focusing on Oracle EBS within finance.
