Job Summary

We are seeking highly skilled professionals for the role of API Testing to join our growing team. As an API Testing specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test cases to ensure the quality and reliability of our APIs. You will collaborate closely with development and QA teams to identify issues, improve product quality, and contribute to our overall organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases for APIs.
• Analyze API specifications and requirements to ensure complete test coverage.
• Identify, document, and track defects found during testing.
• Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Automate API tests using Java programming and relevant testing frameworks.
• Provide detailed documentation of testing procedures and results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in API Testing.
• Strong expertise in API Testing methodologies and tools.
• Proficiency in Java programming for test automation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or REST-assured.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Knowledge of performance and security testing for APIs.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience in testing RESTful and SOAP web services.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in API Testing and Java programming.
• Prior experience in testing large-scale, enterprise-level applications is desirable.

• Work Location: Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Pune, Chennai.
• Work Type: Full-Time.
• On-site positions with collaborative teams in a professional office environment.

Salary

• Competitive salary range: ₹2,00,000 – ₹15,00,000 per annum (based on experience and skill set).
