Procurement Executive

Job Summary

As a Procurement Executive, you will be responsible for Raw Material (RM) and Packing Material (PM) planning. Your role is critical in ensuring the productivity of certain Procure to Pay (P2P) units and related operations works. Additionally, you will ensure 100% order execution of Export Orders, contributing significantly to the organization’s procurement goals.

Responsibilities

• Book SAARC RM/PM orders and schedule them according to the required delivery timeline.
• Prepare and ensure a 100% order visibility/tracking system with timely escalation of any supply risks.
• Coordinate the timely supply of RM/PM and guarantee 100% execution of Export Orders.
• Support procurement-related SAP operations.
• Collaborate with operations, Quality Control, and Store to ensure smooth dispatches from respective plants to export RWH (Regional Warehouse).
• Ensure the freshness (most recent shelf life) of the RM.
• For Colorant RMs, obtain physical samples before every delivery and check the physical appearance in the R&D lab.
• Coordinate with the strategic sourcing team regarding any source changes or new developments.
• Support New Product Development (NPD) launches for RM/PM procurement.
• Assist Brands and NPD with RM/PM changes such as formulation or packaging changes.

Qualifications

• Education: Any Graduate/Postgraduate with an MBA.
• Experience: 3-4 years of relevant experience in Procurement Planning; experience in the FMCG sector is a definite plus.
• Skills:
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with SAP and procurement systems.
• Knowledge of supply chain management practices.

Experience

3-4 years of relevant experience in Procurement Planning, with a preference for candidates who have experience in the FMCG industry.
