Job Summary

The QE+AI Architect will play a pivotal role in leading the design and implementation of intelligent systems aimed at enhancing software quality, testing automation, and delivery efficiency. This role seeks a candidate with deep expertise in AI/ML technologies combined with hands-on experience in quality assurance and engineering best practices.

Responsibilities

• Architect AI solutions for quality engineering use cases, including intelligent test automation, defect prediction, root cause analysis, and self-healing systems.
• Design and implement agentic AI workflows that integrate with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and testing frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define AI-driven quality metrics and establish guardrails.
• Lead the development of machine learning models for anomaly detection, performance monitoring, and predictive analytics.
• Ensure security, scalability, and compliance of AI systems throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Evaluate and integrate AI tools and platforms effectively.
• Mentor engineering teams on AI best practices and quality engineering principles.
• Drive innovation through proof-of-concepts, pilot programs, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, including 3+ years specializing in AI/ML architecture.
• Proven experience in quality engineering, test automation, and DevOps practices.
• Strong knowledge of AI design patterns, especially agentic and tool-use patterns.
• Hands-on experience with programming languages and frameworks such as Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and LangChain.
• Familiarity with model governance and secure AI development protocols.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Certifications in AI/ML or Quality Engineering.
• Experience with industry standards for AI governance and compliance.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and services.

Experience

• Minimum of 10-15 years of total experience, with relevant experience in AI/ML architecture and quality engineering.

Environment

• The position offers a Hybrid working model, allowing flexibility between remote and on-site work.
• Locations available include Chennai, Bangalore, and Pune.
