Job Summary

The Mainframe zos role is essential for overseeing software migration and maintenance procedures. This position is responsible for ensuring the smooth installation, backout, and re-migration processes of various database versions, contributing to the overall efficiency and reliability of the organization's mainframe systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage software migration and maintenance procedures for mainframe systems.
• Oversee the installation, backout, and re-migration processes for DB2 versions V9, V10, and V11.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of software updates.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software migration and database performance.
• Document processes and maintain records of software changes and migrations.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in software migration and maintenance procedures.
• Proficient in DB2 versions V9, V10, and V11.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
• Relevant educational qualifications such as a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Familiarity with mainframe systems and architecture.

Experience

• Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in mainframe software migration and maintenance.

Environment

• This position is hybrid, allowing for a combination of remote and in-office work.

Salary

• Estimated salary range: 3,500,000.
