Key Responsibilities: 1.Accounts Payable Oversight:  Manage the end-to-end accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing, approvals, and payments.  Maintain relationships with vendors, resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance with payment terms. 2. Team Leadership:  Lead and develop the accounts payable team, fostering a high-performing, collaborative, and supportive work environment.  Delegate tasks effectively, provide mentorship, and ensure team alignment with company goals. 3. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:  Partner with senior management and cross-functional teams (e.g., Procurement, Supply Chain, and Finance) to align accounts payable activities with business objectives.  Provide actionable insights and financial reports to support decision-making. 4. Process Optimization:  Identify opportunities to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the accounts payable function.  Implement best practices, automation tools, and technology solutions to streamline workflows. 5. Compliance & Reporting:  Ensure compliance with internal policies, tax and statutory regulations (such as TDS, GST and MSME), and audit requirements.  Prepare periodic accounts payable reports, including cash flow forecasts, aging analyses, and expense tracking. Qualifications and Skills:  Master’s degree in accounting/finance or equivalent. Professional certifications in Accounting (e.g., CA, CMA) are a plus.  3-5 years of accounts payable experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment.  Proven ability to lead teams, manage stakeholders at all levels, and work cross-functionally.  Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.  Expertise in Excel, accounting software and ERP systems; experience with Tally is a plus. .
