Key Responsibilities: 1.Accounts Payable Oversight: Manage the end-to-end accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing, approvals, and payments. Maintain relationships with vendors, resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance with payment terms. 2. Team Leadership: Lead and develop the accounts payable team, fostering a high-performing, collaborative, and supportive work environment. Delegate tasks effectively, provide mentorship, and ensure team alignment with company goals. 3. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Partner with senior management and cross-functional teams (e.g., Procurement, Supply Chain, and Finance) to align accounts payable activities with business objectives. Provide actionable insights and financial reports to support decision-making. 4. Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the accounts payable function. Implement best practices, automation tools, and technology solutions to streamline workflows. 5. Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with internal policies, tax and statutory regulations (such as TDS, GST and MSME), and audit requirements. Prepare periodic accounts payable reports, including cash flow forecasts, aging analyses, and expense tracking. Qualifications and Skills: Master’s degree in accounting/finance or equivalent. Professional certifications in Accounting (e.g., CA, CMA) are a plus. 3-5 years of accounts payable experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment. Proven ability to lead teams, manage stakeholders at all levels, and work cross-functionally. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Expertise in Excel, accounting software and ERP systems; experience with Tally is a plus. .
