Job Summary
As a member of our QA Testing team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality of our software products. You will collaborate with agile feature teams within a SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) train and be responsible for ensuring comprehensive testing coverage through automation. This role is essential for delivering reliable software and improving the overall testing process.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and run existing suites of system regression test scripts built around Robot Framework, Selenium, and Playwright within Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
- Integrate new scripts into existing test suites to enhance test coverage.
- Incorporate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to streamline testing processes.
- Open, track, and retest defects identified during regression testing.
- Provide regression test reports that inform software release go/no-go decisions.
- Use and update our test management tool (Octane) for test documentation and management.
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to understand feature requirements ensuring adequate test coverage.
- Document test strategies, plans, and procedures clearly and consistently.
Qualifications
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 6-8 years of hands-on experience in QA automation.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Python programming.
- Strong experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright.
- Familiarity with test frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, or similar.
- Experience with Appium (APM) tool for mobile test automation is desirable.
- Knowledge of version control tools (e.g., Git), Jenkins, and Agile methodologies.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical and debugging skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with additional automation tools and frameworks beyond the specified ones.
- Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes.
Experience
- 3.5 to 11 years of relevant experience in QA automation is preferred.
Environment
- Location: Bangalore.
