Role Overview
The Regional Sales Manager – West will be responsible for building, scaling, and managing Moxie Beauty’s offline distribution network across West India. This role requires a high-ownership, execution-focused leader who thrives in zero-to-one market building, distributor management, and field team development.
You will own end-to-end regional sales performance including distributor appointments, team hiring, target achievement, market execution, and retail expansion.
 
Key Responsibilities
1. Market Expansion & Distribution Development
● Build Moxie Beauty’s offline distribution network across Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Goa
● Identify, appoint, and onboard strong channel distributors
● Establish and scale General Trade / Modern Trade presence
● Drive retail universe expansion and numeric distribution growth
2. Sales & Revenue Ownership
● Own primary and secondary sales targets for the West region
● Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue growth
● Monitor sales performance through structured review mechanisms
● Ensure healthy stock rotation and inventory planning
3. Field Force Management
● Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing field sales team
● Design beat plans, coverage plans, and productivity benchmarks
● Set KPIs, incentives, and performance tracking systems
● Conduct regular market visits and joint working with team members
 
4. Execution Excellence
● Ensure strong in-store visibility and brand presence
● Drive merchandising, schemes, and promotional activities
● Monitor competitor activities and market trends
● Ensure discipline in reporting, data accuracy, and sales analytics
5. Stakeholder Management
● Act as a bridge between distributors, field teams, and central leadership
● Maintain strong relationships with key trade partners
● Align regional execution with national strategy
 
Key Requirements
● 6–10+ years of experience in offline FMCG / Beauty / Personal Care sales
● Proven experience in distributor-led sales model
● Experience building teams and new markets from scratch
● Strong understanding of primary vs secondary sales dynamics
● Data-driven mindset with strong analytical capabilities
● Willingness to travel extensively across the region
