Data Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our Data Exchange Team. In this role, you will be responsible for enabling seamless data integration across platforms, developing and maintaining robust ETL workflows, and supporting critical data migration and transformation initiatives. Your expertise will play a key role in ensuring data quality, lineage, and completeness, directly contributing to our organization’s success in the Healthcare domain, particularly in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain data integration workflows using Dell Boomi and custom Python scripts.
  • Design and optimize ETL processes for secure and efficient data exchange between internal systems and third-party platforms.
  • Work extensively with Oracle databases, including writing and tuning complex stored procedures in PL/SQL.
  • Understand, maintain, and modernize legacy Pick script-based ETL logic.
  • Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Architects, and QA teams to ensure data quality, lineage, and completeness.
  • Support migration efforts from legacy platforms to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
  • Translate Healthcare RCM business rules into robust data transformations and mappings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 +years of hands-on experience in data engineering roles.
  • Strong experience with Dell Boomi ETL Tool.
  • Proficient in Oracle Database and PL/SQL programming.
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
  • Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.
  • Experience with ETL tools and data integration best practices.
  • Familiarity with Pick scripts for legacy data processes.
  • Strong understanding of the Healthcare domain and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM).
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Unix scripting.
  • Exposure to data migration projects.
  • Knowledge of data quality and data governance principles.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Experience

  • Minimum 4+ years of relevant experience in Data Engineering, ETL development, and database management.
  • Prior experience with Healthcare data systems and RCM processes is highly desirable.

Environment

  • Location: Bangalore or Hyderabad (in-office).
  • Work Timings: 11.00 AM to 8.00 PM IST.
  • Collaborative team environment involving cross-functional teams including Business Analysts, Architects, and QA.
  • May require occasional support during migration or critical project phases.
