We are in the process of establishing a Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) focused on MSME financing. Our objective is to build a robust, compliant, and high-integrity financial institution that delivers value to our customers and stakeholders. We are a private lending firm with over 25 years of experience in supporting the financial needs of MSME businesses across Bangalore. Our clients include traders, manufacturers, logistics companies, F&B ventures, and technology startups.

Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned banking/financial services professional to join as Executive Director (ED) to lead the formation, licensing, and eventual operations of the NBFC. The Executive Director will play a pivotal role in driving strategy, managing compliance, overseeing credit and risk frameworks, and building a strong operational foundation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the formation and licensing process of the NBFC.
• Develop and implement strategic initiatives to drive the organization's growth.
• Manage compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Oversee credit evaluation and risk management frameworks.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and clients.
• Ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness in service delivery.

Qualifications

• Retired or serving officer at Scale IV or above in a nationalized bank, or equivalent senior leadership experience in a private sector bank.
• Similar role in an NBFC with hands-on operational and strategic responsibilities.
• Experience in retail or SME lending, credit evaluation, compliance, or risk management.
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degrees (MBA, M.Com) preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with MSME financing and the unique challenges faced by small and medium enterprises.
• Proven track record in building and leading high-performing teams.
• Ability to analyze financial statements and assess business viability.

Experience

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in banking or financial services, with a focus on leadership roles.

• Work setting: In-office.
• Location: Bangalore.

Salary

• Estimated salary range: ₹5,000,000 per annum.
