Job Summary

The System Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining embedded systems, focusing on device driver development and real-time operating systems (RTOS). This role is crucial for ensuring the performance and reliability of our products, contributing to the overall success of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain embedded C programs, focusing on pointers, structures, and linked lists.
• Design and implement device drivers using standard protocols such as SPI, UART, and USB.
• Utilize RTOS knowledge to manage concurrency scenarios, including mutexes, spinlocks, and multi-threaded environments.
• Analyze and debug complex systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with hardware teams to understand processor architecture and memory management.
• Utilize emulator and simulator environments for testing and debugging purposes.

Qualifications

• Educational Qualification: B.E./B.TECH/M.E./M.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), or Computer Science Engineering (CSE).
• Experience: 3-6 years in embedded systems or related fields.
• Mandatory Skills:
  • Proficient in Embedded C programming and Assembly programming.
  • Hands-on experience in device driver development.
  • Strong knowledge of RTOS and Linux, including kernel and user space.
  • Experience with operating systems and microprocessor/computer architecture.
  • Strong analytical and debugging skills.
  • Knowledge of hardware architecture, including cache and memory barriers.
  • Familiarity with emulator, simulator environments, and JTAG debugging.

Preferred Skills

• Experience or knowledge in Inter Processor Communication Protocol.
• Familiarity with Debug Logging frameworks, Heap Management, and Timer implementations.

Experience

• 3-6 years of relevant experience in embedded systems and device driver development.
