Job Summary

The IT Manager will oversee the technology and network infrastructure within a broking firm. This role is crucial for ensuring seamless live trading operations, managing software applications, and supporting users with their network-related issues. The candidate will be responsible for optimizing system performance and ensuring compliance with exchange regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain network connections with various exchanges like NSE, BSE, MCX, and NCDEX.
• Provide technical support for users, addressing issues related to computer applications and network functionality.
• Oversee the management of trading software, including ODIN Manager, CHIEF, and Symphony Admin.
• Ensure compliance with exchange regulations and manage activity related to risk management systems (RMS).
• Administer the Algo Trading Platform and supervise trading activities.
• Handle server installations, maintenance, and virtualization using ESXi and vCenter.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant IT experience in a broking firm.
• Strong expertise in colocation on NSE and BSE exchanges.
• Proficient in managing Arbitrage setups and troubleshooting automated trading systems.
• Familiarity with network configurations and security, specifically using SonicWall Firewall and Cisco routers.
• Experience in server management, VLAN creation on Cisco and HP ProCurve switches.
• Knowledge of compliance activities including system audits, cybersecurity, and vendor management.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with various trading software and platforms.
• Skills in virtualization technologies, particularly P2V and V2V conversions.

Experience

• A minimum of 10 years experience in IT management within a financial services or broking environment.

Environment

• Shift: 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Saturday.
• Work setting will typically be office-based, with a focus on maintaining network and server performance.
