Job Summary

The Software Development Engineer 4 will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing customized solutions within the ServiceNow platform, focusing on Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) functionalities, Enterprise Agile Planning (EAP), and Agile Development 2.0 plugin. This role requires collaboration with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver high-quality projects on time, contributing to the organization's goals.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement customized solutions within the ServiceNow platform, focusing on SPM functionalities, EAP, and Agile Development 2.0 plugin.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, propose solutions, and deliver high-quality projects on time.
• Configure ServiceNow workflows, forms, reports, and dashboards to streamline SPM and operations processes.
• Maintain excellent knowledge of the ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB) to accurately reflect the organization's IT infrastructure and relationships.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, sharing best practices and driving continuous improvement.
• Stay updated on ServiceNow platform updates, new features, and industry trends to ensure the adoption of best practices and optimal use of the platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in ServiceNow platform development, specializing in SPM, EAP, and Agile Development 2.0 plugin.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies.
• Proficient in ServiceNow development languages (JavaScript, Glide Script, etc.).
• Proficient in Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools like Jenkins, Argo CD, GitHub, etc.
• Experience with ServiceNow integrations (REST, SOAP, MID Server, etc.).
• Extensive knowledge of SPM modules, including configuration, customization, automations, and integrations with other global/external tools like Jira, Confluence, GitHub.
• Hands-on experience working with ServiceNow CMDB and understanding of how the ServiceNow modules are interconnected.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering ServiceNow projects in complex environments.

Preferred Skills

• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist in SPM is preferred.
• Knowledge of Cloud technologies and technical skills like Java and Python is a plus.
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) – IT Operations Management (ITOM), IT Asset Management (ITAM), or Common Service Data Model (CSDM) preferred.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified Application Developer (CAD) is a plus.
