About the Role
We are looking to onboard a seasoned Head of HR to lead and scale the entire HR function across a fast-growing, tech-enabled organization. The role will oversee multiple HR verticals, including a large contractual/intern workforce and a full-time technical workforce, while driving structure, processes, and transformation at scale.
This is a high-impact leadership role, reporting directly to the leadership team, with end-to-end ownership of HR strategy and execution.
Key Responsibilities

HR Leadership & Team Building
Build, structure, and lead the HR function across two key workforce segments:
Interns / contractual workforce (large-scale, project-based) Full-time technical workforceDesign org structure, define roles, and establish clear KPIs for HR teams Hire, mentor, and scale internal HR teams across locations

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
Leverage existing network to quickly build hiring pipelines across levels Drive hiring across:
High-volume internship/contractual workforce Full-time technical talentStrengthen recruitment processes, including structured HR interviews and evaluation frameworks Ensure strong alignment between hiring quality and business requirements

HR Operations & Compliance
Oversee and optimize:
Payroll management (high-volume, daily payouts for contractual workforce) Attendance tracking (biometric systems and beyond) Statutory compliance and HR governanceAct as the escalation point for all HR-related issues and provide solutions

Process Excellence & Transformation
Evaluate and improve existing HR processes (payroll, attendance, compliance, etc.) Introduce scalable systems and best practices for a 3,000–4,000+ workforce Drive efficiency and accuracy across HR operations

Digital & AI-led HR Transformation
Partner with internal tech/AI teams to build HR tech platforms and tools Drive adoption of AI-driven insights in HR decision-making Lead digital transformation initiatives within HR

Culture & Organizational Development
Drive culture-building, values, and engagement initiatives Establish performance management frameworks and people practices Support long-term HR strategy including succession planning and org development
Key Deliverables (First 6–12 Months)
0–3 Months:
Assess current HR structure and gaps
Build team structure and define KPIs
Stabilize payroll, compliance, and attendance systems
3–6 Months:
Strengthen hiring pipelines across all workforce segments
Implement structured recruitment and HR processes
Improve operational efficiency
6–12 Months:
Drive digital transformation initiatives (AI-led HR tools)
Build culture and performance management frameworks
Scale HR systems aligned with business growth
Candidate Profile
10–18+ years of experience in HR leadership roles
Strong HR generalist background (TA + HR Ops + Compliance + Payroll)
Proven experience managing large-scale workforce (3,000+ employees), including contractual staff
Strong talent acquisition expertise with an established hiring network
Experience working with tech or tech-enabled organizations
Demonstrated ability to build and scale HR teams from scratch
Exposure to HR tech / digital transformation initiatives
Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills

Compensation
