Job Description
- Packaging & Product Design: ● Lead the design and evolution of product packaging, ensuring it is distinctive, functional, and aligned with brand positioning ● Work closely with product, sourcing, and vendors to execute packaging from concept to print ● Bring innovation in materials, formats, and shelf appeal ● Ensure compliance with regulatory and labeling requirements
- Brand Design (Website | Digital): ● Drive prioritisation across launches, performance, sales, retention, UI/UX, and brand campaigns ● Oversee marketplace listings to ensure consistency, compliance, and strong visual merchandising ● Plan and manage product photoshoots, ensuring on-brief and on-time delivery ● Track competitor and industry design trends to inform creative direction ● Review and approve performance creatives and campaign key visuals ● Own the visual design of the website and landing pages, ensuring a seamless and high-converting user experience ● Collaborate with product/tech teams to translate brand into UI elements ● Define and evolve Plix’s visual identity across channels
- Retail Channel Experience:
● Drive packaging and design strategy for new retail product development, working closely with brand, sales, and product teams to align on consumer needs, channel requirements, and launch timelines ● Set the creative and structural innovation agenda for retail packaging, ensuring design solutions are differentiated on shelf and aligned with evolving retail and consumer trends ● Navigate and coordinate complex multi-stakeholder approval processes across Regulatory, Brand, General Trade, Modern Trade, and CXO levels, ensuring consensus and sign-off at each gate 4. Social & Content Design: ● Lead creative direction for social media, campaigns, and performance marketing assets Develop thumb-stopping creatives optimized for platforms like Instagram, Meta Ads, and others ● Work closely with marketing to bring campaigns to life through compelling visuals and storytelling ● Build scalable templates and systems for faster content production 5. Team Leadership & Collaboration: ● Lead and mentor a team of designers ● Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and growth teams ● Manage external agencies, freelancers, and vendors when needed ● Bring structure, processes, and speed to design workflows ● Manage ad-hoc design requests without disrupting core priorities
