Job Summary

The SDE Tester (Software Development Engineer Tester) plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and performance of software products. The position involves developing, executing, and maintaining effective test plans and scripts, collaborating with development teams, and contributing to enhancing the overall software quality. Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain detailed test plans and test strategies.
• Design and implement automated test scripts to streamline validation processes.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet quality standards.
• Analyze test outcomes to identify issues and work with developers on problem resolution.
• Track bugs and defects using designated bug tracking tools.
• Continuously improve testing frameworks by incorporating best practices and new methodologies.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in software testing and quality assurance methodologies.
• Proficiency with automation testing tools such as Selenium or Appium.
• Familiarity with programming languages like Java, Python, or C#.
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Educational background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (e.g., B.Tech, BSc).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices.
• Knowledge of performance and load testing tools.
• Exposure to security testing methodologies.

Experience

• Ideally 2+ years of experience in a software testing or quality assurance role.
