Our mission is to provide impactful, data-driven advertising experiences that drive success for our clients and engage audiences in meaningful ways Position Overview: The Associate Vice President of Sales (Direct + Agency) will spearhead Signpost India's sales efforts across Direct and Agency verticals, with a regional responsibility encompassing all categories. This pivotal role involves driving revenue growth by leveraging Signpost India’s diverse media portfolio, including such as DOOH, billboards, and transit media comprising of bus queue shelters, public bus advertising, metro station advertising, airport advertising. The Deputy Vice President will act as a strategic leader, collaborating with brands, agencies, and PSUs to drive customized media plans tailored around client target audience utilising geospatial analysers and footfall demography. They will focus on maximizing Signpost India's market penetration, expanding its footprint across industries, and aligning its offerings with client needs. This role demands a results oriented individual who can develop and implement effective sales strategies, manage high-performing sales teams, and cultivate relationships with key clients. Key Responsibilities: Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth • Lead monetization of Signpost ecosystem through brand partnerships. • Develop and execute GTM strategies to target and onboard relevant brands, building a robust sales pipeline. • Manage end-to-end partnerships from pitch to closure, ensuring delivery of client objectives. • Develop and implement ad sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets. • Drive business development initiatives across traditional, digital, and integrated platforms. 2. Client Relationship Management • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, agencies, and brand partners. • Provide innovative advertising solutions tailored to client objectives. Quickly understand the various media platforms that Signpost India offers. • Establish strong relationships across PSU, Agency, and Direct clients to secure sustained revenue streams. 3. Team Leadership & Development • Hire, train, and lead a team to drive business development, revenue growth, and execution excellence. • Conduct regular performance reviews, training, and development sessions. 4. Market Insights & Strategy • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and audience insights to refine sales strategy. • Prepare periodic reports and forecasts on sales performance and business pipeline. 5. Cross-functional Collaboration • Work closely with operations, creative, and finance teams to ensure campaign delivery and client satisfaction. Skills & Qualifications • Proven experience (12 – 15 years) in media/ad sales, preferably in OOH, digital, broadcast, print or experiential media. • Leadership and team management experience with the ability to drive performance. • Strong business acumen with a track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets. • Well-connected at the highest levels with Brands and Agencies and has been driving and achieving revenue targets consistently. • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills. • MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): • Achievement of quarterly and annual sales targets. • Growth in client base and retention rates. • Market share and category penetration. • Team productivity and performance outcomes.
