Job Summary

The Quality Assurance Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and performance of our software products. This position involves application testing, use case generation, and bug lifecycle management, contributing to the overall success of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough application testing and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Generate and manage test cases based on use case scenarios.
• Engage in manual testing and manage the bug lifecycle effectively.
• Collaborate in an Agile environment to ensure timely and efficient product releases.
• Utilize bug tracking and test case management tools (JIRA, Azure TFS, Git) for project management.
• Test applications across multiple browsers and mobile devices to ensure compatibility and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) or a related field.
• 4+ years of application testing experience.
• Proficient in use case generation, manual testing, and bug lifecycle management.
• Understanding of Relational database models and experience with SQL.
• Familiarity with bug tracking and test case management tools, such as JIRA, Azure TFS, and Git.
• Strong experience working in an Agile environment.
• Ability to conduct API testing (JSON, REST) using tools like Postman and JMeter for performance testing.
• Experience in creating automation tests using Playwright, Selenium, and JUnit/TestNG.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with AI testing tools such as Cursor or Copilot for creating automation tests.
• Exposure to Jenkins and SoapUI for automation and testing.

Experience

• Minimum of 4+ years in quality assurance or application testing roles.
