VP International Business Development (Sensors & Identity Solutions)

About the Role

We are looking for a senior, high-influence leader to drive international business

development for the Sensor Business Unit at Mantra Softech. The role focuses on expanding

our biometric and identity solutions across global Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI)

ecosystems.

The ideal candidate will have deep experience working with or within global DPI initiatives

such as MOSIP, OpenCRVS, OpenG2P, World Bank, iSPIRT, UIDAI, Centre for Digital

Public Infrastructure, and Digital Public Goods Alliance.

This role combines technical depth, policy understanding, and commercial acumen to

position Mantra as a key global player in DPI ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Strategic Business Development

• Drive international expansion across Africa, Southeast Asia, Middle

East, and Latin America

• Identify and build pipeline of DPI-led identity, civil registration, and

welfare delivery programs

• Develop go-to-market strategies aligned with government and

multilateral programs

  1. Ecosystem Engagement & Influence

• Build strong relationships with:

• Governments and national ID authorities

• Multilateral agencies (World Bank, UN bodies, development

agencies)

• DPI ecosystem organizations (MOSIP, OpenG2P, etc.)

• System Integrators and Channel partners

• Represent Mantra in global forums, working groups, and policy

discussions

• Act as a thought leader in digital identity and biometric infrastructure

  1. Technical & Solution Positioning• Translate Mantra’s sensor and biometric capabilities into DPI-

compatible solutions

on architecture discussions

• Engage with system integrators, platform providers, and governments

• Understand RFPs, standards, and solution design early in the lifecycle

  1. Partnerships & Alliances

• Build partnerships with:

• System integrators (SI partners)

• DPI platform providers

• Local implementation partners in target countries

• Drive consortium-based bids for large-scale government programs

  1. Deal Origination & Closure

• Lead large, complex, multi-stakeholder deals

• Work closely with internal product, engineering, and leadership teams

• Own revenue targets and pipeline conversion

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience

• 12+ years in:

• Digital identity / biometrics / GovTech / DPI ecosystems

• International development programs or public sector

technology

• Direct experience with one or more:

• MOSIP ecosystem

• World Bank / donor-funded projects

• National ID programs / civil registration systems

• Strong exposure to emerging markets (Africa, SEA, LATAM)

Skills

• Deep technical understanding of:

• Digital identity architecture

• Biometrics (fingerprint, iris, face)

• DPI stack (identity, payments, data exchange, G2P)

• Strong stakeholder management at senior government / institutional

level• Ability to navigate policy + technology + commercial layers

simultaneously

Network

• Existing relationships with:

• Government decision-makers

• Multilateral agencies

• DPI ecosystem leaders

• Credibility and recognition in the DPI / GovTech space

What Success Looks Like (12–24 Months)

• Establish Mantra as a recognized player in global DPI ecosystems

• Build strong pipeline across 5–10 priority countries

• Secure strategic partnerships with key ecosystem players

• Win and execute large-scale international identity / DPI programs

Reporting

• Reports directly to Founder (Director)

• This is not a conventional sales role—it requires technical depth,

influence, credibility, and ecosystem leadership

• Ideal for candidates transitioning from global development

organizations or DPI platforms into industry
