Job Description
Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain the annual budgeting process, including gathering input from relevant departments, analysing historical data, and preparing comprehensive financial forecasts. Perform financial analysis and modelling to support strategic decision-making, identify areas for cost optimization, and provide recommendations for improving financial performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the financial impact of proposed projects, investments, and initiatives. Conduct cost analysis to ensure effective allocation of resources, identify cost-saving opportunities, and optimize profitability. Coordinate and present preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including profit and loss statements and variance analysis. Monitor and analyse financial performance against budget, highlighting areas of concern or improvement. Support the CFO in preparing board presentations for specific financial analysis. Guide the tech team to develop and maintain tools and dashboards to streamline financial data accuracy. Works closely with the Leadership to evaluate new projects (both India and overseas), conducting viability & risk assessment thereof and strategy for end-to-end implementation Strategize and oversee critical / crucial deliverables of Commercial and Costing function Performs other duties as required and/or assigned from time to time to achieve the aforesaid objectives. Basic Requirements: Bachelors’ degree in Commerce / Finance / Business Administration Chartered Accountant / CMA with impeccable academic record Strong organizational skills including the ability to manage calendars and effectively maintain records and files. Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain professional, friendly, and cordial relationships with stakeholders, including colleagues, board members, rating agencies, Bankers etc. Highly resourceful team-player with the ability to also be extremely effective independently. Strong computer skills (preferred proficiency in SAP), Microsoft Office programs; Word, Excel, PowerPoint
