Job Description

Key Responsibilities:  Develop and maintain the annual budgeting process, including gathering input from relevant departments, analysing historical data, and preparing comprehensive financial forecasts.  Perform financial analysis and modelling to support strategic decision-making, identify areas for cost optimization, and provide recommendations for improving financial performance.  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the financial impact of proposed projects, investments, and initiatives.  Conduct cost analysis to ensure effective allocation of resources, identify cost-saving opportunities, and optimize profitability.  Coordinate and present preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including profit and loss statements and variance analysis.  Monitor and analyse financial performance against budget, highlighting areas of concern or improvement.  Support the CFO in preparing board presentations for specific financial analysis.  Guide the tech team to develop and maintain tools and dashboards to streamline financial data accuracy.  Works closely with the Leadership to evaluate new projects (both India and overseas), conducting viability & risk assessment thereof and strategy for end-to-end implementation  Strategize and oversee critical / crucial deliverables of Commercial and Costing function  Performs other duties as required and/or assigned from time to time to achieve the aforesaid objectives. Basic Requirements:  Bachelors’ degree in Commerce / Finance / Business Administration  Chartered Accountant / CMA with impeccable academic record  Strong organizational skills including the ability to manage calendars and effectively maintain records and files.  Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain professional, friendly, and cordial relationships with stakeholders, including colleagues, board members, rating agencies, Bankers etc.  Highly resourceful team-player with the ability to also be extremely effective independently.  Strong computer skills (preferred proficiency in SAP), Microsoft Office programs; Word, Excel, PowerPoint
