Sales Specialist - Managed Services
Job Summary
The Sales Specialist - Managed Services is responsible for leading sales activities for Managed Services in alignment with organizational objectives and the annual business plan. This role aims to meet top-line revenue and gross margin targets while ensuring effective prospecting and client engagement to maintain and grow customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Lead Managed Services sales activities in line with business objectives for the specified geography.
- Achieve top-line and gross margin targets for the region.
- Generate leads through account mining and effective prospecting methods.
- Manage customer relationships and collaborate with product Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to understand roadmaps and requirements for solution building.
- Work with cross-functional teams (extended sales team, presales team, and Practice team) to deliver desired outcomes.
- Farming (upselling & cross-selling) in existing accounts as well as hunting (new customer acquisition) to expand the client base.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years experience in IT Services with a focus on managed services.
- Strong insights into IT Infrastructure, IT Outsourcing, SLA-based services, and Network Operations Center (NOC) services.
- Strong communication and client management skills.
- Confident, self-driven, and a go-getter with the capability to engage with C-level and senior IT leadership.
- Proven track record in managing the complete lifecycle of services deals, from lead generation to deal closure.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with specific Managed Services tools or platforms may be beneficial.
Experience
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in IT Services, specifically in Managed Services.
