Job Responsibilities:
The Rural Sales Head is a senior-level role responsible for leading and managing the sales operations in rural areas. This position requires a deep understanding of rural markets, strong leadership skills, and the ability to devise and execute effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market penetration.
Develop and implement sales strategies for rural markets, aligning with overall business objectives. Identify opportunities and challenges specific to rural areas and create plans to address them.
Build and lead a high-performing sales team focused on achieving targets and expanding market share. Provide guidance, mentoring, and performance management to ensure the team's success.
Conduct thorough research to understand the unique characteristics of rural markets, including customer needs, preferences, and purchasing behavior. Use insights to adapt product offerings and sales approaches accordingly.
Would be reporting to COO.
Set ambitious sales targets for the rural region and track progress. Implement initiatives to drive sales growth, such as product launches, promotions, and distribution expansion.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key rural customers, distributors, retailers, and other stakeholders. Understand their needs and feedback to enhance customer satisfaction.
Provide training and skill development opportunities to the sales team to enhance their product knowledge, selling techniques, and customer engagement abilities.
