In the past year; here are some of the milestones that we have achieved: - 1M Active Users - 100 Trusted Counsellors - 400+ Students Placed At ASL we are looking for passionate and technology enthusiastic engineers with excellent grasp on web technologies and protocols like HTTP to join us. What you will do ● 3+ Years of Experience as a  QA Engineer with experience in both Automation + Manual Testing. ● Will be Responsible for executing a set of test cases assigned to you by SDET/QAE/Your manager. ● Will be responsible for writing and maintaining black-box test cases with some guidance. ● Mentor junior QA engineers and set standards and best practices for testing, automation etc. ● Responsible for making sure that verified bug fixes are truly fixed and existing functionality is also working fine. ● Responsible for performing defect analysis, helps prioritise and escalate issues within your scope. Gives feedback on coverage, quality of test instructions and acts as a catalyst to process sustenance. ● Responsible for analysing automation failures and report issues by isolating script/product failures What you will bring ● Have a break the code attitude to drill down on ambiguous tasks requested (new features/use cases) into clear work instructions through first pass execution or training from QA, which in turn helps the team to start testing without any hiccups. ● Have good debugging ability. ● Have technical ability to gather logs, and traces to add them on bug reports and provide detailed instructions on bug reproduction. ● Can give feedback on automation needs to your team for the components owned, execute and verify results of existing automated tests, manage and scale the lab infrastructure based on project needs. ● Have basic understanding of the automation framework to initiate, manage and maintain automation runs as per defined schedule/SLA. ● Be responsible to reproduce errant product behavior to assist developers or other testers to identify, track, and accurately report defects found. ● Be good in defect reporting with proper: steps to repro, logs, clear description of actual vs. expected results, helpful title/summary. ● Strong written communication skills. ● Self-motivated and have strong organisational skills. ● You share our values, and work in accordance with those values. Nice-to-haves ● Experience in a peak performance organisation, preferably a tech startup. ● Product company experience. ● Developer platform/tool industry experience. ● Passionate about/experienced with internal tools such as CRMs. EXPERTISE AND QUALIFICATIONS Experience working with Selenium, Java scripts, Java, Git, Basic understanding of Python and Linux
