Snowflake Architect

Job Summary

The Snowflake Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing Snowflake solutions to meet the data management and analytics needs of the organization. This role will contribute significantly to the effective use of Snowflake's cloud data platform, ensuring robust performance and scalability of data workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Snowflake architectures based on business requirements and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions that leverage Snowflake's capabilities.
• Optimize Snowflake performance through query tuning and repository management.
• Ensure data integrity and security while managing access to the Snowflake environment.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members in best practices for using Snowflake.
• Manage ongoing data migrations and integrations required for various applications.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in data architecture or cloud data platforms.
• Certifications:
  • SnowPro Core
  • SnowPro Advanced
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and analytics practices.
• Proficiency in SQL and other data manipulation languages.
• Demonstrated experience in performance tuning and optimization of data platforms.
• Familiarity with ETL tools and data modeling techniques.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with other cloud platforms beyond Snowflake.
• Knowledge of data governance frameworks and compliance requirements.
• Prior experience in a consulting role or collaborating with diverse business units.

Experience

• A minimum of 10 years in a related field with significant exposure to Snowflake solutions architecture.
