Job Summary

The Compliance Medical Expert will play a critical role in the India Compliance Leadership Team, ensuring the effective implementation of compliance programs within India. This position is focused on preventing, detecting, and correcting violations of company policy while driving the integration of enterprise risk mitigation programs, particularly in areas such as Commercial Practices, Anti-bribery and Corruption, and Privacy. This role combines scientific expertise in medical information with a strong focus on compliance and risk management.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with GSK leaders to implement a robust compliance program within India.
  • Develop and maintain networking relationships with key Health Care Practitioners (HCPs).
  • Plan and conduct Continuous Medical Education (CME), workshops, scientific meetings, and deliver scientific presentations aligned with key product messages.
  • Support activities related to Scientific Engagement and ensure adherence to promotional codes.
  • Become an expert in oncology relevant to GSK's brands, staying updated on scientific knowledge and company molecules.
  • Contribute medical input into brand strategy development and execution.
  • Oversee pharmacovigilance efforts in oncology by supporting the Named Safety contact.
  • Facilitate the India Risk Management and Compliance Board (RMCB), promoting effective risk management plans and oversight.

Qualifications

  • Educational Background:

    • Minimum Level: MBBS with a post-graduate qualification.
    • Preferred Level: Post-graduate qualification in Pharmacology or Public Health.
  • Job-Related Experience:

    • 1-2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in oncology.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and the local language.
    • Proficient in presenting scientific topics in various settings.
    • Knowledge of ICH-GCP and internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Skills:

    • Strong presentation and communication skills (both verbal and written).
    • Technical writing proficiency.
    • Ability to maintain up-to-date knowledge in the field.
    • Effective feedback provision and acceptance.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in building and maintaining relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in team settings to achieve common goals.
  • Innovative thinking for continuous improvement initiatives.

Experience

  • Minimum of 1-2 years in the pharmaceutical industry with a focus on oncology therapy.
