We work closely with early-stage startups to help them validate ideas, strengthen business fundamentals, and scale sustainably through hands-on mentorship, structured programs, and capital support. Role Overview: As an Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) at PedalStart, you will wear multiple hats and work at the intersection of strategy, execution, and founder support. This is a high-ownership role suited for individuals who enjoy switching between problem-solving, analysis, and hands-on execution. You will work closely with the leadership team, investment team, and portfolio founders, contributing across startup evaluation, program execution, and internal strategic initiatives. Key Responsibilities: ● Work closely with early-stage founders across strategy, operations, growth, and execution, adapting support based on each startup’s needs ● Evaluate new startup applications through market research, founder assessment, and business model analysis ● Support accelerator programs by coordinating sessions, engaging with founders, and managing program-level initiatives ● Collaborate with the investment team on pitch reviews, due diligence, and portfolio tracking ● Conduct market, sector, and competitor research to support both startups and internal decision-making ● Take ownership of internal projects and problem statements, driving them end-to-end with minimal supervision ● Assist across functions as needed, including operations, content, partnerships, and strategic planning ● Contribute to improving internal processes, frameworks, and knowledge systems at PedalStart Ideal Candidate Profile ● Prior experience working in a startup, venture capital, consulting, or founder-led environment ● Strong understanding of startups, business models, and early-stage challenges ● Ability to think strategically while also executing hands-on ● Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments ● Strong communication and stakeholder management skills ● Entrepreneurial mindset with high ownership and accountability Preferred Qualifications ● 5-8 years of relevant work experience (startup, VC, strategy, consulting, or product roles) ● Exposure to fundraising, growth, operations, or strategy is a plus ● MBA or equivalent experience preferred but not mandatory What You’ll Gain ● Hands-on exposure to multiple early-stage startups and founders ● Opportunity to work closely with an accelerator and investment platform ● High learning curve with real ownership and impact ● Potential pathway to leadership roles or venture creation Working Days: 6 days (WFO) CTC: INR 25-40 LPA Location: Gurgaon/ Bangalo
