Job Summary

The Alternate Sales - Regional Head North will be responsible for driving and building the Alternates segment in the Northern region. This position plays a crucial role in strategizing and acquiring business within the Alternates market, contributing to the organization's growth and success.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to drive the growth of the Alternates segment in North India.
  • Acquire new clients and expand business relationships with existing clients in the Alternates space.
  • Collaborate with the Alternates Sales Head to formulate effective sales strategies.
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify potential business opportunities.
  • Lead and manage regional sales teams to achieve business targets and performance metrics.
  • Monitor and report on performance, ensuring alignment with overall sales objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (an MBA is preferred).
  • Proven experience in sales, specifically within the Alternates or financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of product offerings in the Alternates segment.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and business acumen.
  • Proven track record of successful client acquisition and relationship management.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working in boutique PMS (Portfolio Management Services) houses or AMCs (Asset Management Companies) is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with the regulatory environment surrounding Alternates and financial services.
  • Strong networking capabilities and established connections within the industry.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in sales or business development, particularly in the financial services sector.

  • The role is based out of Delhi, offering a dynamic work environment focused on sales growth and client engagement.

Salary

  • Compensation is competitive, with a total package of 40 to 45 LPA, including fixed and performance-based variable pay.
