Job Summary

The Senior AWS Terraform Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing automated cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS and Terraform. This role requires expertise in DevOps practices, infrastructure-as-code, and cloud automation, supporting multiple projects in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, effective communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, contributing to the organization's cloud transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design, create, and maintain Terraform modules for IT infrastructure automation across multiple projects.
• Support and manage infrastructure for various priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate and coordinate with clients, solution leads, tech leads, and product owners to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Develop automation strategies and implement solutions using Terraform and AWS services.
• Manage code repositories and CI/CD pipelines using Github, Jenkins, and AWS CodePipeline.
• Implement and manage AWS Cloud Infrastructure services including ECS (Elastic Container Service) and EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service).
• Adhere to Agile-Scrum methodologies, including user story estimation and execution.
• Demonstrate success working independently and as a collaborative team member.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 8-12 years of relevant experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or related technical roles.
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices, microservices, and micro-frontends architecture.
• Proven expertise with AWS cloud services and infrastructure components.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation.
• Proficiency in using Github, Github Actions, and Jenkins for version control and CI/CD automation.
• Working knowledge of Python for scripting and automation tasks.
• Familiarity with UNIX/Linux OS commands and environments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of client and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and projects in a deadline-driven setting.
• Experience with Agile-Scrum execution models and user story estimation.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Cloud Certification(s) (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer).
• Experience with AWS CodeDeploy and AWS CodePipeline.
• Exposure to microservices and micro-frontends best practices.
• Prior experience in consulting or client-facing roles.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving abilities.

Experience

• 8 to 12 years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure management, or a similar technical domain.
• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform, Jenkins, Github, and Python.
