Job Summary

The ServiceNow Application Developer plays a crucial role in developing and maintaining custom applications on the ServiceNow platform. This role focuses on enhancing user experience through UI/portal development and ensuring seamless integration and automation of business processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ServiceNow custom applications with a focus on UI/portal development using ServiceNow’s UI Builder and Seismic framework.
• Design, build, and implement REST API integrations and advanced scripting configurations with ServiceNow’s Flow Designer for backend integration and process automation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze, design, and implement solutions while ensuring smooth communication throughout the development lifecycle.
• Utilize modern UI frameworks and JavaScript expertise (including AngularJS and React) to build responsive, scalable web applications that comply with best practices on the ServiceNow platform.
• Maintain high code quality standards using software development tools (e.g., IDEs, debuggers, build tools, and source control) while following best practices in object-oriented design and data structure optimization.

Qualifications

• Experience: 4+ years as a ServiceNow Application Developer
• Modules: Experience with ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, SecOps, CSM, SPM, HRSD, or GRC.
• Platform Skills: Proficient in developing, configuring, and customizing the ServiceNow platform.
• Tools: Working knowledge of ServiceNow App Engine, ServiceNow Studio, UI Builder, Workspaces, and Integration Hub.
• Scripting: Proficiency in JavaScript scripting, workflows, and integrations.
• Code Quality: Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Team Skills: Strong ability to work in a team environment under aggressive deadlines while being effective independently.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with object-oriented design principles and design pattern implementation.

• Years of Experience:
  • 3.5 to 5 years: ₹1.6L per annum
  • 5 to 8 years: ₹1.8L per annum
  • 8 to 12 years: ₹2.2L per annum
