Job Summary
The Transformation Lead for Payments Services is responsible for optimizing and scaling Ather's end-to-end customer payment value chain. This role collaborates closely with Product Owners and Business Owners across different divisions to address business requirements, design solutions, and drive implementation in the Direct-to-Customer space.
Responsibilities
- Solution Design: Collaborate with Product and Business Owners to identify problem statements and design solutions addressing business needs related to customer payment processes, financial accounting, and reconciliation management.
- Business Partner: Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, define processes, and implement digital solutions aimed at improving operational efficiency.
- Technology Evangelist: Promote the adoption of tools and digitalization efforts within the organization by identifying opportunities for enhanced efficiency through technology usage.
- Process Champion: Guide stakeholders in developing lean processes to achieve business objectives, translating their problem statements into actionable technical solutions in collaboration with the tech team.
Qualifications
- Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Engineering).
- Master’s in Business Administration or equivalent from a premier B-school (desirable).
- Experience: 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in designing and implementing customer payment systems.
- Technical Skills:
- Experience with payment gateway integration, prepaid payment instruments (e.g., wallets), and customer payment systems for various services.
- Knowledge of tools such as ERP/SAP, CRM, and payment microservices.
- Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile Methodology, and IT systems architecture.
Preferred Skills
- Understanding of Financial Accounting principles and reconciliation requirements.
- Expertise in Business Process designing, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), and Value Stream Design in Analysis (VSDiA).
- Certifications in Lean Six Sigma, DMADV, and similar methodologies.
- Experience with SAP FICO & MM modules is desirable.
- Superior storytelling, communication, and negotiation skills.
Experience
A minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in relevant roles, specifically in customer payment systems and digital transformation initiatives.
Environment
The role will be based at IBC Knowledge Park, Bengaluru, within a collaborative, innovative, and technology-driven work environment.
