Job Summary

The Manager is responsible for providing support in managing the accounts of assigned subsidiary companies. This role includes finalization, consolidation of accounts, and analysis as required. Additionally, the Manager will oversee tax and statutory audits for the projects and manage payments related to TDS (Tax Deducted at Source), service tax, and foreign remittances.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the Balance Sheet in compliance with the prevalent rules and regulations.
• Finalizes and consolidates books of accounts for subsidiaries/projects and analyzes these accounts.
• Evaluates the books of accounts prepared at the regional office and rectifies errors if any.
• Ensures timely payments to consultants/vendor residing outside of India and obtains necessary certification (15 CA / 15 CB).
• Calculates TDS and ensures compliance regarding PAN numbers and timely submission of TDS certificates.
• Assists auditors during the audit process by providing required data and resolving queries.
• Validates documents from regional offices to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Manages the implementation of SAP software, trains personnel at regional offices, and ensures adherence to company-defined guidelines and processes.
• Identifies and recommends process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including taxation laws.
• Proficiency in SAP and other financial management software.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Understanding of audit processes and compliance standards.

Preferred Skills

• Additional qualifications in finance (e.g., CA, CPA).
• Experience in managing audits and foreign remittances.
• Knowledge of international taxation and compliance.
• Problem-solving skills to identify and recommend process improvements.

Experience

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting, preferably in a managerial role.
