AWS Solution Architect

Job Summary

The AWS Solution Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and robust AWS cloud solutions for clients and internal stakeholders. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, architecting end-to-end solutions, and supporting presales activities to drive business growth. The AWS Solution Architect ensures that solutions align with best practices and organizational goals, contributing to successful project delivery and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective AWS cloud architectures based on business requirements.
• Collaborate with sales, presales, and technical teams to deliver solution proposals, technical presentations, and proof-of-concepts to clients.
• Lead technical discussions and provide guidance on cloud migration, modernization, and optimization strategies.
• Ensure solutions comply with security, regulatory, and operational best practices.
• Support presales management activities such as RFP/RFI responses, solution demos, and technical workshops.
• Document architecture designs, processes, and standards for ongoing solution maintenance and knowledge transfer.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in designing and deploying AWS solutions.
• Expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) architecture, services, and security best practices.
• Proven experience in presales management and client-facing technical engagements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• AWS Solution Architect certification (Associate or Professional) preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in cloud migration projects and hybrid cloud environments.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with other cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in AWS solution architecture, including hands-on design, deployment, and presales activities.
• Demonstrated track record of successful cloud solution delivery and client engagement.

Environment

• Full-time role with work environment details to be specified by the employer.
• May require collaboration with remote or distributed teams.
• Typical office hours; occasional travel for client meetings or workshops may be required.

Start Date

• Position expected to start within 15 days from offer acceptance.
