Bags and accessories merchandiser with around 10 years experience in a reputed sports brand related company 
The candidate would be responsible for overseeing the conceptualization, construction and development of samples as per specifications. 
Good understanding of accessories/bags construction, design & costing. Expertise in domestic sourcing with hands on experience in quality check. 
Ability to understand the product requirement and ensuring to get the final samples made ready for production. 
Sound knowledge on fabric qualities, print and surface ornamentation techniques. 
Vendor management to ensure to get the right product within the timelines with competitive cost. 
Good understanding of all roles involved in the process. 
Constant check on new fabrics, trims etc to help the design process. 
Ability to cost the samples to achieve the desired margins and quality. 
Keeping up to date with new fashion trends, design and production techniques. 
Build, manage and maintain Time and Action Calendars for all apparel products across each factory 
Meticulous in maintaining records, files for seamless workflow. 
Monitor daily status of line development including production, design, and technical design. Must fully understand garment-manufacturing process to ensure compliance. 
Analyse all price quotes, work with merchants to ensure target costs are achieved, and understand fabric, trims and embroidery costs. 
Approve all fabrics for appearance, quality, weight and hand-feel, using formal guidelines and technical knowledge. 
Approve prototype samples for style details and construction. 
Manage workflow from initial sketch through final placement of styles. 
Manage approval process of all strike's offs, patterns trims, and technically correct lab dips. 
Establish and manage tracking tools for all products in development through final production. Keep up on daily communication with internal teams and factories. 
Travel to factories, trade shows as necessary to execute and follow through on brand strategies.
